ÖZ:
Bu çalışmanın amacı Ernest George Ravenstein ve Everett S. Lee’nin göç kuramlarını kullanarak 1972 yılında çekilen ve Türk işçilerinin Almanya’ya göç etme serüvenini anlatan “Dönüş” filmini bilimsel düzlemde analiz etmektir. Göç konusu sosyal politikanın önemli sorunsallarından birisi olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Özellikle 1961 yılında Türkiye ile Almanya arasında imzalanan İşçi Göçü Antlaşması’na paralel olarak Almanya’ya göç eden Türk işçi sayısında bir hayli artış yaşanmıştır. Söz konusu bu hareketlilik ve o dönem sosyal hayatında yaşananlar toplumun aynası niteliğindeki sinemaya da yansımış ve 1960’lardan günümüze kadar geçen sürede Almanya’ya göç konusunu işleyen onlarca film çekilmiştir. Türkan Şoray ve Kadir İnanır’ın başrolünü oynadığı Dönüş filmi de bunlardan sadece birisidir. Çalışmada göç ve tanımından hareketle göç teorilerine yer verilecek, uluslararası göç kavramı temelinde Almanya’ya işçi göçü Ravenstein’ın göç yasaları ve Lee’nin göçe neden olan faktörleri inceleyen kuramları kullanılmak suretiyle analiz edilecek ve söz konusu bu kuramlar çerçevesinde filmde Almanya’ya göç kararını etkileyen faktörler belirlenecektir.

ABSTRACT:
The objective of the study is to analyze the film called “Return” that is based upon Turkish workers immigration to Germany and that was made in 1972 via Ravenstein and Lee’s methods. The issue of migration is one of the problematic areas of social policy. In particular, depending upon the Worker Immigration Treaty signed between Turkey and Germany in 1961, an increase took place for the number of Turkish workers immigrating to Germany. This set of mobility and the experiences in that eras’ social life were reflected to the cinema which was something like the mirror of a society and tens of films on Turkish immigration to Germany have been made since 1960. The film of “Return” in which Türkan Şoray and Kadir İnanır played the starring role is one of these films. In the study, moving from immigration and its definition, theories of migration will be mentioned and migration to Germany will be investigated on the basis of international migration concept by using Ravenstein’s Laws of Migration and Lee’s theory within the context of factors causing for migration and the factors that affect decisions for the migration in the film will be ascertained.
