ÖZ:
Otomotiv sanayii temel olarak motorlu taşıt araçları ve bu araçların üretimi için gerekli parçaları üreten sanayidir. Bu sanayi, kendisi dışında birçok sanayi dalıyla yakın ilişki içindedir. Bunlar arasında özellikle demir-çelik sanayiini, lastik ve petrokimya sanayiini saymak mümkündür. Bunların yanı sıra ulaşım sektörü de otomotiv sanayii ile doğrudan bağlantılıdır. Otomotiv sanayii bu özelliği ve belirtilen sanayi dallarıyla olan yakın ilişkisi nedeniyle, var olduğu her ülkede, o ülkenin ekonomisi için lokomotif bir sanayi olarak görülmektedir.

ABSTRACT:
Automobile industry is mainly produces motor vehicles and the related components for their production. Automobile industry has close links with other sectors. Specifically iron-steel industry and the industry for rubber and petro-chemicals can be regarded as the prominent ones among them. On the other hand automobile industry is directly linked with transportation sector and the automotive industry. Due to its characteristics and above-mentioned linkages, automobile industry is regarded as the leading sector for that specific country that it operates in.
