ÖZ:

Son yıllarda sosyal inovasyon ile ilgili bilimsel çalışmaların ve projelerin sayısında bir artış gözlemlenmektedir. Ancak kavramsal boyutuyla sosyal inovasyon, farklı uygulama alanlarında kendisini gösterdiği için pratik önemi nedeniyle tartışmasız bir konu değildir. Nitekim bugüne kadar sosyal inovasyon ile ilgili genel kabul görmüş net bir teorik çerçeve oluşturulamamıştır. Bununla birlikte artan sosyal sorunların karşısında bütçe sıkıntılarının yaşandığı birçok ülkede sosyal inovasyonların çözüm odaklı sonuçlarına dair umutlar ve beklentiler yüksektir. Bu durum, sosyo-ekonomik, kültürel, teknolojik ve demografik değişimle ilgili zorlukların yaşandığı alanlarda özellikle önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda sosyal inovasyon türlerini literatür analizleri üzerinden alanlarına göre kategorize etmiş olan Rüede ve Lurtz’un çalışması, sosyal inovasyonun teorik (kavramsal) ve pratik açılımına yardımcı olmuştur. Bu makalede, mezkûr çalışmadan yola çıkılarak sosyal inovasyonlar, toplum yararı ve sosyal değişim gibi yedi farklı alan ekseninde incelenmiş ve aralarındaki sosyo-ekonomik etkileşimler, nedenleriyle birlikte ortaya konulmuştur. Bu makalenin en önemli amacı, alanlarına göre karakteristik özelliklerini ve çekirdek unsurlarını belirledikten sonra sosyal ve teknik inovasyonların birbirleriyle nasıl ilişki halinde olduğunu araştırmak, kavram ve acil sosyo-ekonomik sorunların çözümü açısından uygulanış biçimleri hakkında değerlendirmektir.

ABSTRACT:

In recent years, an increase has been observed in the number of scientific studies and projects related to social innovation. However, with its conceptual dimension, social innovation is not an undisputed issue due to its practical importance as it manifests itself in different application areas. As a matter of fact, until today, a generally accepted and clear theoretical framework for social innovation has not been established. However, in many countries where there are budgetary problems in the face of increasing social problems, hopes and expectations for the solution-oriented results of social innovations are high. This is particularly important in areas where there are difficulties associated with socio-economic, cultural, technological and demographic change. In this context, the work of Rüede and Lurtz, who categorized the types of social innovation according to their fields through literature analysis, helped the theoretical (conceptual) and practical expansion of social innovation. In this article, starting from the aforementioned study, social innovations are examined in the axis of seven different fields such as social benefit and social change, and the socio-economic interactions between them are revealed together with their reasons. The most important purpose of this article is to investigate how social and technical innovations are related to each other after determining their characteristics and core elements according to their fields, and to evaluate the concept and its application in terms of solving urgent socio-economic problems.
