ÖZ:

Yasa koyucu, 5018 sayılı ilk Sendikalar Kanunu'nda yabancı ideolojilere bulaşmayan antikomünist ve milliyetçi bir sendikacılığın çerçevesini çizmiştir. Diğer taraftan, Truman Doktrini doğrultusunda Amerika Birleşik Devleri (ABD) de, Türkiye'de antikomünist bir sendikacılık oluşturmaya çaba sarf etmiştir. Bu bağlamda, 1948-1962 arası dönemde sendikaların öncülüğünde, yukarıda bahsedilen iç ve dış etkenlerle çok sayıda "komünizmi tel'in mitingi" yapılmıştır.

Yunanistan'ın Kıbrıs'ı ilhak politikası, keza tedhiş örgütü EOKA'nın kurulması 1955'ten itibaren Ada'da Türklere uygulanan katliamları artırmıştır. Türkiye'de bu duruma tepki olarak gençler, öğretmenler, işçiler, sendikacılar, çiftçiler gibi toplumun her kesiminden insanın katılımıyla 1958'de 42 ilde "Kıbrıs Türk’tür Mitingleri" düzenlenmiştir.

Makalede, komünizmi tel'in ve Kıbrıs Türk’tür Mitingleri'ne sendikaların aktif olarak katılma nedenleri ve Türk Sendikacılık Tarihi'ndeki yeri üzerinde durulmuştur.

ABSTRACT:

The Legislator set the framework of an anti-communist and nationalist trade unionism which is not contaminated by foreign ideologies in the first Trade Unions Act (no. 5018). On the other hand, the United States of America also strived to generate an anti-communist trade unionism in Turkey. In this context, a great number of ‘cursing communism’ demonstrations were held between 1948-1962 with the aforementioned internal and external factors.

Greece’s Enosis policy and establishment of the EOKA increased the massacres towards the Turks in the Island. In 1958, ‘Cyprus is Turkish’ demonstrations were held with the participation of people from every walk of life like youths, teachers, workers, trade unionists, farmers, etc. in 42 provinces of Turkey.

In this article, reasons and the place of the ‘cursing communism’ and ‘Cyprus is Turkish’ demonstrations which were held with the active participation of trade unions in Turkish Trade Unionism history is studied.
