ÖZ:

Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmetler (AÇSH) Bakanlığı Engelli ve Yaşlı Hizmetleri Genel Müdürlüğü (EYHGM) tarafından 2014-2018 yılları arasında yürütülen İşe Katıl Hayata Atıl Projesi ülkemizde engelli bireylerin açık iş piyasasında istihdamında gelecek için umut vadeden ve yepyeni bir anlayışı temsil eden bir destekli istihdam projesidir. “Her birey çalışma hayatında yer alabilir” anlayışı ile yola çıkan proje; engellere değil yeteneklere, gruplara değil bireylere odaklanarak istihdam alanında ülkemiz için destekli istihdam modelini geliştirmeyi hedeflemiştir.

İşe Katıl Hayata Atıl Projesi engelli birey, iş koçu ve işveren işbirliğinde yürütülen ve başarılı sonuçlar alınmasını sağlayan, tüm engel gruplarını uygulamaya dâhil eden ve altı ilde uygulanan bugüne kadar gerçekleştirilmiş en kapsamlı destekli istihdam projesi olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, ayrıntılı bir şeklide ele alınan bu proje ışığında Türkiye açısından destekli istihdamının geleceği tartışılmıştır.

ABSTRACT:

Join to Work Join to Life Project, carried out by the General Directorate of Services for Persons with Disabilities and Elderly under the roof of Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services between 2014 and 2018, is a supported employment project that promises a new understanding for the future in the employment of disabled people in the open labour market in Turkey. Stating that everyone has the right to participate into labour market, the Project aims to develop a supported employment model for Turkey by focusing not on barriers but talents, and not on groups but individuals.

Join to Work Join to Life Project is the most comprehensive supported employment Project implemented in six provinces, which is carriedout in collaboration with persons with disabilities, job coaches and employers, and which ensures successful results, including all types of disability. In this study, in the light of this project, which is discussed in detail, the future of supported employment is discussed for Turkey.
